Receptionist
Yates Whitaker LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is a mid-sized boutique firm filled with a team of enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individuals. We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who enjoys working at the front where they will greet our clientele, visitors, vendors and more on a continual basis. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize their day and manage tasks that come up throughout the day. You are the first face the public will see, so a positive attitude, professional demeanour are a must. If you enjoy answering phones, managing a variety of tasks, while taking on new challenges, then this just might be the position you are looking for!
Your Responsibilities will include:
Greeting and assisting clients and staff
Answering phone calls and directing calls to team members
Setting up and logging in client corporate and personal tax files
Processing Moneris payments
Managing the phone system, phones, mail, couriers and the file room
Coordinating Canada Revenue Agency authorization and online access for new clients
Maintaining various client spreadsheets
Ordering office supplies and furniture as needed and liaising with vendors
Responding to any maintenance needs by contacting Facility Management
Ongoing upkeep and stocking of the boardrooms, kitchens & desks for new team members
Ordering lunches for meetings and office events
Other tasks as they arise
Your Attributes:
Up to 2 years of experience in a receptionist or an administrative role
Experience working in a Professional Services firm would be an asset
Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional MS Office skills
A professional individual with exceptional client service and relationship building skills
